South Korean President Lee Jae-Myung has received a tour of Wahat Al Karama in Abu Dhabi as part of his visit to the UAE on Monday.
The tour was carried out by by His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes' Affairs.
Lee Jae-Myung was welcomed with a guard of honour and briefed about the history of the location, which symbolises the heroism and sacrifices of brave UAE nationals in defending the country and protecting its values and achievements.
The two parties also held bilateral talks as Sheikh Theyab praised the progress of relations between the two nations in all sectors that achieve their shared interest.
At the end of the tour, the South Korean president penned a message in the Wahat Al Karama guestbook, expressing his appreciation to the martyrs of the UAE.
