Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the International Humanitarian and Philanthropic Council, has discussed enhancing humanitarian cooperation with Bill Gates, Chair of the Gates Foundation, on the sidelines of the Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix on Sunday.
Sheikh Theyab, who also holds the positions of Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes' Affairs, held talks on ways to enhance mutual cooperation in several spheres of developmental work with Gates.
They also explored joint initiatives between the UAE and the Gates Foundation that aims to improve living standards, address international challenges, and support community development.
