Sharjah's deputy ruler meets Egyptian Minister of Justice in Cairo

WAM

Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Judicial Council, has discussed ways to enhance judicial collaboration with Egypt during talks with the country's Minister of Justice Adnan Fanjari.

During the meeting in Cairo, Sheikh Sultan highlighted the need to learn from Egypt's extensive legal expertise and praised the country's significant efforts in modernising its judicial system and updating laws to meet contemporary needs.

The collaboration reflects the deep ties between the two nations and their mutual commitment to strengthening their legal frameworks.

After the meeting, Sheikh Sultan toured the Ministry of Justice to see its specialised services and modern facilities firsthand, and also explored the ministry's library.

Sheikh Sultan's tour continued to the employee lounge and the ministry's nursery, where he learned about the care and educational programmes provided for the young. He also visited the Opera House located in the City of Arts and Culture, along with Egypt’s Islamic Cultural Centre.

The visit concluded with a ceremonial exchange of gifts and a group photo with the minister.
