Sheikh Mohammed waives housing loans of Emiratis

WAM

Hundreds of Emiratis in Dubai are getting home loans worth AED 173 million waived off.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai, has issued the directive on the occasion of the country’s National Day.

The decision is set to benefit UAE nationals who were provided loans for a housing project in Deira’s Abu Hail area.

Dubai's Department of Finance has already started implementing the initiative in partnership with the Dubai Real Estate Corporation’s Wasl Properties.
