Sheikh Abdullah emphasises humanitarian efforts on World Health Day

WAM

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, has highlighted the significance of humanitarian and diplomatic efforts to protect human life on World Health Day.

"The true measure of health security is demonstrated in the ability to protect the most vulnerable," said Sheikh Abdullah in a statement.

He emphasised the UAE's commitment to ensuring access to healthcare worldwide "as a fundamental right which should not be determined by conflict or crises".

Sheikh Abdullah further added that the nation will continue to provide treatment and support while advancing health systems to further protect humans and develop prosperous communities.
