Educational institutions in Sharjah have been allowed to opt for distance, on-site or hybrid teaching system for the rest of the week.
The directive was issued by the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA), taking into account the impact of the recent severe weather conditions.
"It is the responsibility of the educational institution's management to determine their preferred mode of education (in-person, remote, hybrid) from Tuesday, April 23 to Thursday, April 25," the SPEA said in a statement.
Prior approval is not required for this and institutions can notify the authority via email: eda@spea.shj.ae.
