The Sharjah Charity International (SCI) treated over 1,100 patients through its medical programmes in 2023, with patients requesting help through their website.

They provided AED 22.1 million in medical assistance throughout the year, supporting 1,105 patients. This included critical care for 136 patients with chronic diseases (AED 1.6 million), 71 cancer patients (AED 3 million), and dialysis sessions for those with kidney failure (AED 6.6 million).

SCI  also covered surgical costs for 249 patients (AED 6 million). These procedures included vital organ transplants (liver, marrow, kidney), heart surgeries, stroke treatment, and catheterizations. They also supported 72 births.

Assisting and treating patients remains a top priority for SCI with their mission to help those with chronic illnesses and critical needs who cannot afford medical care. They collaborate with various partners to maximise impact.
