His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has met with the Virgin Galactic boss.
During their meeting, Richard Branson gifted Sheikh Mohamed the UAE flag that was taken into space.
The gift, which was onboard a recent Virgin Galactic test flight, is to mark the UAE’s vision and approach to space sciences.
Branson spoke to ARN sister station Virgin Radio about the momentous occasion:
