Qatari Emir receives H.H. Sheikh Mansour

Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani on Thursday welcomed His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE's Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court.

The meeting was held in Doha on the sidelines of the Third Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) Summit.

The two leaders discussed the strong ties between their nations and explored ways to enhance collaboration, and also exchanged views on several issues of mutual concern.

They emphasised the significance of the latest ACD summit in bolstering cooperation between Asian countries to drive sustainable development and prosperity.

Sheikh Mansour is leading the UAE delegation at the third ACD summit, themed 'Sports Diplomacy,' which aims to strengthen cooperation among Asian countries to promote sustainable development.

In his opening remarks at the event, Sheikh Tamim highlighted Asia's critical role in global trade and its vast human and economic resources.

He called for increased cooperation among Asian nations to leverage strengths, explore opportunities, and propose initiatives for societal development.

Summit participants focused on enhancing cooperation and interconnectedness in key areas to foster sustainable economic growth and stability across the region.
