A public art installation entitled ‘Sand In The Waves’ can be viewed by the public at The Beach, Jumeirah Beach Residences (JBR) until November 28. Created by New Zealand artist Gary Yong, the installation uses sand bags to form the shape of a wave that functions as a unique playground on the beach. It has been installed as part of UAE Innovation Week.
UAE successfully intercepts 15 ballistic missiles, 119 drones
The Ministry of Defence said UAE air defences intercepted 15 of the 16 ballistic missiles detected in the region on Saturday, with one falling into the sea.
