UAE, Senegal Presidents review priorities on water development

WAM

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his Senegalese counterpart Bassirou Diomaye Faye have discussed their shared vision on water development in both nations and globally during talks in Abu Dhabi.

The discussions come ahead of the upcoming 2026 UN Water Conference that UAE and Senegal will co-host in Abu Dhabi from December 8.

The meeting also looked at opportunities to further strengthen ties between the two nations, particularly in the fields of investment, the economy and development.

Faye, who is on a working visit to the UAE, also discussed a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest.

The leader from Senegal also held talks with Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court.

The two sides explored opportunities to strengthen cooperation in a number of priority areas, particularly investment and development, as well as ways to broaden mutual partnership to serve the interests of both countries and their people.
