Several new roads leading to the Expo 2020 Dubai site are now open.
It’s part of the sixth phase of a major infrastructure project costing AED 3 billion.
The latest stage incudes a bridge extending 1.4 km as well as roads stretching about 8 km.
An improved intersection of Emirates and Expo Roads has also been completed, while a 5 km stretch of Emirates Road has been upgraded.
The project will ensure a smooth traffic flow for Expo visitors and also serve future developments in the area.
