No electricity, water and gas price hikes in Sharjah

Electricity, water and gas rates in Sharjah are not increasing, the Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA) has said in response to rumours that it is planning to raise prices. Electric tariff remains at 55 fils per kilowatt-hour. SEWA added that they are offering up to 25% discount for both national and expatriates with special needs and beneficiaries of assistance of the Ministry of Social Affairs.
