New Year holiday confirmed for UAE federal sector

Wednesday, January 1, 2025, will be a public holiday for federal government entities.

In a circular released on Friday, the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) said that work will resume on Thursday, January 2.

It also extended its heartfelt wishes to the UAE's leadership, government and people.

The New Year holiday for the private sector will soon be confirmed by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.
