More investment and research needed for UAE healthcare system, say experts

More investment and research is needed to help improve the healthcare system in Dubai. That’s the message from experts who have been attending a brainstorming forum to suggest initiatives for Dubai’s Health Strategy. Today is the second phase of the stakeholder engagement programme, while in the third phase, everybody living in the emirate will have an opportunity to provide their feedback and suggestions. Dr. Layla Al Marzouqi is the Director of Health Regulations & Medical Tourism at the DHA.
