Man returns AED 149k found at Ajman ATM

A man in Ajman has been praised by police for handing in AED 149,000 that he found while at an ATM, earning him a certificate of appreciation from the authorities.

Abdul Fattah Mahmoud Abdul Fattah handed the money into Ajman Police so it could be returned to its rightful owner. 

The Head of the Comprehensive Medina Police Center, Colonel Ghaith Khalifa Al-Kabi expressed his gratitude and praised the man’s honesty before awarding him with the certificate.

In a post on Instagram Ajman Police said it is "striving to achieve the strategic goals of the Ministry of the Interior, which is to promote security and security Boosting the public's confidence in the effectiveness of the services provided."
