His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has explored his take on the "politics of governance" ahead of completing 60 years of public service.
In a post on his official social media handle, Sheikh Mohammed unveiled his new book titled Almatani Alhayah (Life Taught Me), describing it as "simple in its words… candid in its expressions… authentic in its meanings".
His Highness said the book looks at the various facets of governance, adding that the years in public office have passed "quickly with challenges, achievements, crises, joys and sorrows and surprises".
The book, he added, is first for himself, then for his children and his people and for those who "wish to learn from his life".
Sheikh Mohammed added that the book focuses on his "ideas, concepts and principles... rather than on projects and accomplishments".
