His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, toured the Arabian Travel Market (ATM), which wrapped up on Thursday at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

During his visit, Sheikh Mohammed emphasised the UAE’s commitment to global collaboration, inclusive growth and building a strong tourism economy.

He highlighted the country’s continued investment in world-class infrastructure, with UAE airports expected to handle around 150 million passengers this year, and praised the nation’s record-breaking tourism performance, with 30.7 million international visitors in 2024 and total spending reaching around AED 250 billion.

ATM 2025 has drawn a record turnout, featuring 2,800 exhibitors from 166 countries and welcoming around 55,000 travel professionals.

Sheikh Mohammed praised the UAE’s growing influence in the tourism sector and emphasized the role of global exhibitions like ATM in supporting the economy and creating international opportunities.

His Highness visited the Emirates and flydubai pavilions, reviewing their expansion plans and growth strategies, which aim to strengthen Dubai’s position as a global aviation hub.

He also visited the Emirates Tourism Council pavilion, where Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Chairman of the Council, provided an overview of efforts to enhance tourism competitiveness across the seven emirates in alignment with the ‘We the UAE 2031’ vision.
