H.H. Sheikh Hamdan commends Dubai Health's role in advancing global standards

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and the UAE's Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister, has visited Dubai Health’s headquarters, reviewing key projects aimed at advancing healthcare services.

Sheikh Hamdan was briefed on initiatives that combine patient care, education, research and innovation as part of Dubai Health’s integrated academic health system.

He said healthcare is central to the wellbeing and prosperity of the community, noting that Dubai Health supports the goals of the Dubai Social Agenda 33 by delivering high-quality, internationally benchmarked preventive and treatment services.

Sheikh Hamdan praised the dedication of healthcare teams and reaffirmed Dubai’s ambition to position Dubai Health as a leading global academic health system.

During the visit, he toured the Health Operations Centre and reviewed community-based and digital healthcare programmes, including the Reaya initiative for senior citizens and people of determination.

He was also briefed on a patient journey redesign programme aimed at improving access to care, expanding home healthcare, and strengthening telemedicine services.
