For all those girl gamers out there, here's your chance to shine at the world’s largest video gaming competition for women that will be held in Dubai.

Online registrations are now open for the first-ever all-female E-Sports team in the Middle East, who will go on to represent the region in the GIRLGAMER World Finals from December 12-14.

Those aged 16 and above can apply for the five-member team, which will be finalised after a rigorous selection process.

Participants will compete in the game, League of Legends.

Women’s participation in the global eSports industry has seen a huge leap in recent years. In 2018, the number of enthusiasts grew to 46 million from 38 million the previous year.
