First cargo from Mohammed bin Rashid Humanitarian Ship enters Gaza

WAM

A UAE humanitarian aid convoy, carrying the first shipment from the Mohammed bin Rashid Humanitarian Ship, has entered the Gaza Strip as part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.

Convoy number 272 is carrying 387 tonnes of food parcels.

The Mohammed bin Rashid Humanitarian Ship arrived at Egypt's Al Arish Port last week, loaded with 10 million meals provided by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives.

Mohammed Al Kaabi, Media Coordinator of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 in Al Arish, said UAE humanitarian teams are working around the clock to ensure aid reaches Gaza as quickly as possible.

He explained that intensive efforts have been underway since the ship’s arrival to unload, prepare and process the cargo, allowing the first batch to enter Gaza just one week later.

The process involves strict inspection and repackaging to ensure quality and safety before the supplies are moved through an integrated logistics system into Gaza.

Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 continues to provide relief through land convoys, an air bridge and maritime shipments, reflecting the UAE’s commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and easing their suffering.
