Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli has highlighted the depth of the strategic partnership between his country and the UAE following the fraternal visit of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to El Alamein.

He added that relations between the two countries represent a "distinguished model of Arab cooperation and support for regional issues," stressing Cairo’s keenness to enhance it further.

Earlier this week, Sheikh Mohamed was in El Alamein to discuss ways to explore bilateral ties with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

Both leaders had stressed the necessity of fostering peace and stability across the region, and prioritising the wellbeing of its nations and communities.

The Egyptian Prime Minister added that cooperation between Egypt and the UAE continues to grow in vital areas, including energy, investment and economic development, affirming ongoing work to strengthen and expand its horizons in a way that serves the common interests of the two countries and supports comprehensive development plans in the region.
