The Dubai World Cup 2020 has been cancelled in the UAE.
That’s according to an announcement made by the Dubai Media Office on Twitter, which clarified that the 25th edition of the horse race will be postponed until next year.
This comes as part the UAE’s efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19 in the country.
The organising committee for the competition also explained that they took the decision in order to “safeguard the health of all participants.”
