The smart application and non-emergency hotline of Dubai Police are proving to be quite popular with the public for reporting COVID-19 violations.

The authority received around 1,000 reports through these platforms over a one-week period from January 31 to February 6.

As many as 893 violations were reported via the call centre 901, while the app's 'Police Eye' service received 82 complaints.

Dubai Police have called on people to lend their support in curbing the spread of the virus by reporting any violations of the COVID-19 precautionary measures.
