Dubai outlets warned against hiking prices of face masks

If you think you've been forced to pay more for face masks, you can file an official complaint.

That’s the message from Dubai’s Department of Economic Development, which is reminding pharmacies and medical equipment providers not to hike their prices.

It comes amid suppliers reporting a shortage of masks following the global outbreak of the new coronavirus.

The authority has warned of strict action against outlets that take advantage of the situation.
