Dubai Government has announced that all its entities will switch to remote work on Thursday, May 2 and Friday, May 3, except for roles that require on-site presence.

The government has also urged private sector entities to do the same.

The decision takes into account the adverse weather forecast for the coming days.

The UAE Cabinet had earlier issued directives for employees of federal government entities to work remotely on Thursday, May 2.
