Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is cautioning motorists about possible traffic delays around the Expo 2020 site to make way for the Golden Jubilee cycling tour.

A delay is expected on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road between Abu Dhabi borders and Expo Road towards Sharjah, from 3:00 pm till 4:30 pm.

The Expo Road between Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road and Sheikh Zayed Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Street towards Lehbab Road will also be affected during these hours.

In addition, traffic movement could be affected at Expo 2020's Mobility Parking entrances for motorists coming from Abu Dhabi on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, and at the World Parking for those coming from Expo Road and Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Street.

The Golden Jubilee cycling tour, which started at the Ministry of Interior's offices in Abu Dhabi, will end at Expo 2020 Dubai.

Abu Dhabi's Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) had earlier announced rolling road closures in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.

It said Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Road, Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Road and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Road will be closed from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm to make way for the passing  cyclists.
