COVID-19: UAE announces 809 new cases, 722 recoveries

The UAE has confirmed 809 new cases of COVID-19, taking the overall tally in the country to 84,242.

According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), as many as 103,124 additional tests have been carried out across the Emirates.

Meanwhile, the number of recoveries has gone up to 73,512 after another 722 people received the all-clear.

The ministry has also confirmed the death of one patient, bringing the total number of fatalities to 404.

This means that there are currently 10,326 active cases in the country.
