Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) are warning motorists of road closures until 4:30 pm on Friday as riders from the UAE Tour Women 2026 pass through the city.

In a post on social media, RTA said the "roads will be closed for 10 to 15 minutes and reopened once the riders have passed".

Friday’s stage started from Dubai Police Academy at 12:50 pm.

They will ride through several major areas, including Umm Suqeim Street, Dubai Investment Park, Al Qudra Cycle Track and Dubai Sports City, before finishing at Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University.

Drivers have been advised to "plan (their) trips in advance and head out early" to avoid delays.

The fourth UAE Tour Women, organised by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, will take place until February 8.

It will feature the participation of 120 elite female cyclists and cover a distance of 533km across the UAE.

The race will finish at Jebel Hafeet on Sunday.
