The COVID-19 testing procedures have been updated for passengers arriving at Sharjah International Airport.

Travellers must carry a negative PCR test result taken not more than 72 hours before the date of travel.

Previously the validity was 96 hours.

Passengers are also required to take another test upon arrival in Sharjah.

According to Sharjah's Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Team (ECDMT), the latest decision will come into effect five days after its publication.
