Ten business establishments have been fined and one outlet has been shut down in Dubai during the latest round of inspections to ensure compliance with COVID-19 safety protocols.
Authorities closed a sports yard rental facility in Al Qusais, while fines were imposed on a gym, swimming academy and retail outlets located in Al Karama, Al Bada'a and Al Quoz areas.
Warnings were also issued to seven other establishments for not placing enough physical distancing stickers.
As many as 728 outlets were found to be fully compliant with the rules during the latest field visits conducted by Dubai Economy.
