COVID-19: 2,959 new cases in UAE from more than 242,100 tests

The UAE has confirmed 2,959 new cases of COVID-19 from 242,159 tests.

Another 1,901 people have recovered, taking the overall recovery tally to 391,205.

Meanwhile, 14 more patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 1,310.

A total of 408,236 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 15,721 are currently active.
