COVID-19: 2,204 new cases in UAE from more than 242,000 tests

The UAE has confirmed 2,204 new cases of COVID-19 from 242,026 tests.

Another 1,693 people have recovered, taking the overall recovery tally to 398,126.

Meanwhile, 8 more patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 1,353.

A total of 417,909 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 18,430 are currently active.

The Ministry of Health conducts 242,026 tests as part of its plans to expand the scope of the tests, and reveals 2,204 new cases of the #Coronavirus, 1,693 recoveries and 8 death cases due to complications. #TogetherWeRecover pic.twitter.com/5IYXxAX4TC
