The UAE has confirmed 2,204 new cases of COVID-19 from 242,026 tests.
Another 1,693 people have recovered, taking the overall recovery tally to 398,126.
Meanwhile, 8 more patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 1,353.
A total of 417,909 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 18,430 are currently active.
