The UAE has created a constructive and swift response to the challenges thrown by the COVID-19 pandemic.

That's according to His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, who highlighted how it focused on ensuring the safety of citizens, residents and visitors, and defusing the negative economic impact of the crisis.

His remarks came during a meeting with members of the Dubai Government Excellence Programme as they looked at how the public reacted to the emirate's COVID-19 response.

Conducted by the Dubai Government Excellence Programme, the survey showed that 89 per cent of the public were satisfied with the changes made to government services, while 88 per cent expressed satisfaction with the precautionary measures put in place to ensure their safety.
