Dubai has opened its first-ever 'Work From Park' destination at Al Barsha Pond Park, bringing a new way for residents and visitors to work, meet and connect in an outdoor setting.

Launched by Dubai Municipality in partnership with Group AMANA and Letswork, the facility combines open-air workspaces with climate-controlled indoor offices, desks and meeting rooms.

The destination also includes areas for events, networking and wellness activities.

The initiative is part of Dubai Municipality’s wider plans to transform public parks into multifunctional community spaces, in line with the Dubai 2040 Parks and Greenery Strategy.

"Through this initiative, we are creating opportunities for people to work and connect closer to home while benefiting from the natural surroundings and recreational facilities of Al Barsha Pond Park. It also demonstrates how collaboration with the private sector can enhance the value of public destinations by introducing innovative services that respond to community needs," said Bader Anwahi, CEO of the Public Facilities Agency at Dubai Municipality.

Construction was carried out using modular building technology by Group AMANA, through DuBox and DuPod.

Much of the work was completed off-site before the units were assembled at the park, helping reduce construction time and minimise disruption to visitors.

The workspace is operated by Letswork, with indoor desks and meeting rooms available to book through its app or website.

Longer-term options, including dedicated desks and private offices, are also available, subject to availability.

The opening marks another step in Dubai’s efforts to develop public parks beyond traditional recreational spaces, creating destinations that bring together work, leisure and community life.
