UAE President holds bilateral talks with Bavarian Minister-President

WAM

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held bilateral talks on Monday with Dr. Markus Söder, Minister-President of Bavaria, who is on a working visit to the UAE.

During the meeting, the two sides reaffirmed their commitment to expanding cooperation between the two nations across key sectors that promote future growth, including the economy, advanced technology, energy, innovation, and industry.

The meeting referenced the UAE President's recent visit to Germany and its positive outcomes in advancing bilateral partnerships. The two sides looked at opportunities to build on this momentum through long-term economic and development collaborations.

The discussions also addressed the 2026 UN Water Conference, where both sides emphasized the importance of advancing collective action to develop innovative solutions to water challenges.

The conference is set to be held in the UAE in December.
