Three establishments have been shut down as Dubai Municipality steps up inspections to ensure compliance with COVID-19 precautionary measures.
The closure orders were issued to a fitness centre in Mirdif, a salon in Al Nahda 2, and a massage centre in Al Souq Al Kabeer.
All three outlets were pulled up due to overcrowding.
The municipality also fined two establishments and handed warnings to 21 others during the latest round of checks that covered a total of 2,197 entities.
