Combatting COVID-19: Dubai Municipality shuts fitness centre

A fitness centre in Dubai's Al Nahda 2 area has been shut down for not complying with COVID-19 precautionary measures.

Three establishments were fined and warnings were issued to 22 others during the latest round of checks by Dubai Municipality.

The inspections covered a total of 2,173 entities.

#DubaiMunicipality strengthened its inspection campaigns to ensure the commitment to precautionary measures. The total commitment rate reached 99%, and the number of inspection visits reached 2,173. 1 establishment was closed, while the number of alerts reached 22. pic.twitter.com/BdvovIPD3l
