Resident can now use their caravans to camp out on one of Dubai's beaches free of charge.

Dubai Municipality announced that in order to do so, people can avail a permit on the municipality's website in order to camp out on Al Sufouh beach, which is adjacent to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Street.

Officials have clarified that residents must first obtain a permit, which can be issued free-of-charge via the Dubai Municipality website.

They have also explained that this initiative aims to ensure that camping enthusiasts and caravan owners can enjoy the emirate's beach atmosphere, especially in the wintertime.
