There’s relief for UAE passengers who’ve been stranded at the international airport in Bali. It was closed on Tuesday because of a potential volcanic ash cloud in the area. More than six thousand international and domestic travellers were stranded, with many being put up at hotels on nearby islands. The airport’s runways and aircraft have now been cleared of ash. Passengers departing from the UAE are being advised to contact their local carriers’ office in case the situation changes again.
