Authorities control fire at old Abu Dhabi airport after air defence interception

Abu Dhabi authorities have reported that they have controlled a fire that broke out at Abu Dhabi’s old airport, following successful interception by air defence systems.

The incident, revealed on the Abu Dhabi Media Office X account on Wednesday evening, resulted in no injuries. 

Abu Dhabi authorities reminded the public to obtain information from official sources only, and to avoid spreading rumours or unverified information.
