Ajman Police have helped reunite a couple who were separated for seven years due to financial difficulties.

With COVID-19 lockdown and travel restrictions further complicating their situation, the Syrian national was unable to bring her to the UAE.

He then approached the Ajman Police, who went beyond their call of duty to reunite the couple.

They not only flew his wife into the country, they also prepared a reception at the airport and booked them into a hotel.

The couple extended their gratitude to the Ajman Police for their "generous support".
