Abu Dhabi Police: Do not leave children unattended at the beach

WAM

Abu Dhabi Police are warning parents about the dangers of leaving children unattended at the beach.

The capital's police force has advised parents to equip their children with the necessary floaters and life jackets, especially if they do not know how to swim.

Authorities have also told guardians to refrain from being distracted by their phones or social media while their kids are in the water in order to avoid any accidents.

They revealed that negligence has been the main reason behind such incidents in the past.
