Abu Dhabi health officials dismiss COVID-19 rumours

Health authorities in Abu Dhabi have dismissed reports suggesting a discrepancy in the official number of COVID-19 infections in the UAE as "untrue".

In a statement released by the national news agency WAM, the Department of Health-Abu Dhabi said the "reports contradict with the announcements made by the official authorities".

The Ministry urged the public to get information from official sources, and reminded that those responsible for spreading rumours will be held legally accountable.
