Classrooms in Sharjah are about to get smaller.
Private schools in the emirate are no longer allowed to have more than 25 students in each classroom.
His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, issued the directive on Tuesday.
The number of classes that each teacher can hold has also been capped to 24 per week, which is around five lessons every day.
The changes are aimed at improving the quality of education in Sharjah and providing students with the best learning environment.
