UAE Cabinet adopts AI Advisor System to support decision-making

The UAE has approved the launch of a new Cabinet AI Advisor system, designed to support government decision-making and speed up the study and implementation of projects and initiatives.

The system uses 32 specialised AI advisors to analyse policies and legislation, assess their impact, review global best practices and provide recommendations.

It will also work around the clock with ministers to follow up on government decisions and their implementation.

The announcement was made by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, who chaired the Cabinet meeting at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi.

Sheikh Mohammed said the move is part of a wider transformation of government services using agentic artificial intelligence.

He stressed the UAE’s focus on making government more efficient and ensuring faster, more accurate decisions.

The Cabinet also reviewed a programme to train 22,000 teachers and educators to use AI in teaching, assessment, lesson planning and curriculum development.

It also approved the rollout of an AI curriculum across public and private schools in the UAE, with plans to share the UAE’s experience internationally.

The Cabinet approved the agenda for the UAE Government Annual Meetings, set for November 8 to 10, under the theme of readiness and resilience.

It also reviewed progress in government digital transformation, environmental protection and entrepreneurship, and approved measures covering autonomous vehicles, cloud migration and financial sustainability.

The Cabinet further approved the National Ecotourism Policy and reviewed progress under the National Strategy to Combat Desertification.

Several international agreements were also approved, covering areas including investment, healthcare, education, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, energy and tourism.

The meeting was chaired by Sheikh Mohammed as the UAE begins a new government season focused on innovation, readiness and continued development.

He outlined three key messages for government teams during the meeting, stressing the UAE’s focus on delivering despite challenges, the transformative role of Agentic AI, and the trust built by the country over decades.
