24 Dubai shops fined for COVID-19 safety violations

As many as 24 shops in Dubai have been fined for not complying with the COVID-19 precautionary measures.

Another five more outlets were issued warnings for their employees’ lack of commitment to wearing face masks

A total of 655 establishments were found complying with the rules during the latest round of inspections carried out by Dubai Economy. 

The authority has stressed that the inspections are aimed at educating establishments about the importance of complying with the rules, and urged residents to log violations via the Dubai Consumer app.
