The UAE confirmed 1,215 new cases of COVID-19 from 277,855 tests on Friday.
Another 1,390 people have been given the all-clear, taking the overall recovery tally to 676,956.
Two patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 1,994.
A total of 699,381 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 20,431 are currently active.
