Fire breaks out at Kuwaiti refinery following drone attack

The Kuwaiti Petroleum Corporation (KPC) has reported a drone attack that targeted its Mina al-Ahmadi refinery early on Friday, which resulted in a fire breaking out at its operating units, with no injuries reported.

The Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) noted that emergency and firefighting teams are working to contain the fires and prevent their spread at the site.

It added that the necessary precautionary measures have been taken to ensure the safety of the workers and protect the facilities.
