A stunning new attraction is taking shape in Dubai offering sweeping views of the city.

'The View at The Palm' is a public observation deck towering 240 metres above Palm Jumeirah.

It’s perched on the top level of The Palm Tower that’s connected to the soon-to-open Nakheel Mall.

The observatory will be open for both day and night visits, and also include a VIP lounge and areas for private events.

An opening date has not been announced yet but master developer Nakheel says it's nearing completion.
